ComCase E

The Western DataCom ComCase™ E is a custom Mobile Access Router solution specifically designed for executive communications. This fully integrated solution provides everything necessary to establish wired and wireless communications with reach back to a Home Agent utilizing industry standard Mobile IP.

Instantly setup a secure 802.11g wireless hot spot in any location using either AC or DC power. Add wired clients using up 14 auto sensing 10/100 Ethernet interfaces or tie into a Gigabit back bone network. Using Mobile IP establish reach back using WiFi, Cellular or satellite for a complete end to end communications hub. All of these capabilities are accomplished with a single box solution that is robust, portable and versatile.

Measuring only 12" x 10" x 5" and weighing less than 15 pounds the ComCase™ E provides all the elements necessary to setup a mobile communications hub. The unique folding handle and carry case provide a level of portability never seen before.

External connections include one Gigabit Ethernet Interface, sixteen 10/100 Auto-sensing VLAN able Ethernet interfaces, console ports for the MAR, IPE-10M and Catalyst, key fill interface for IPE-10M, two serial Smart jacks (RS-232, V.35, etc.), four RPTNC connectors for WiFi antennas (bridge and AP), three SMA connectors for cellular and GPS antennas, AC and DC power jacks and an on/off switch.

A look inside shows the PC/104 stack, the Catalyst 2955 and the power modules. Additional space is available for battery packs and additional PC/104 cards.

There are two base configurations available the ComCase™ E and the ComCase™ ES. From these base configurations the ComCase™ E can be customized to meet the requirements of most end users.
