ComCase C - TACTICELL

The ComCase is is the System Intergration that makes up the Tacticell System. The ComCase C includes a PICO-cell, 2100MHz amplifier, Single Board Computer and Ethernet Switch embedded inside the enclosure. In addition the ComCase C includes the management software necessary to operate and mantain the Cellular Infrastructure.

The ComCase C has been designed to meet or exceed MIL STD 810G specifications and uses passive conduction cooling (no moving parts). Doors on either side open to allow access to the internal components.

Inside, the ComCase C houses up to 10 PC/104 Plus cards with a base configuration that includes a Single Board Computer with Solid State Hard Disk Drive, Ethernet Switch for added port density and amplifier. With the ability to expand internally the ComCase C can also include a 5915 Cisco Router, Radio over IP card and 2.4 GHz Wireless card to name only a few.

UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) is the fastest 3G cellular technology available and is the same Wideband CDMA technology used by AT&T and T-Mobile. Tacticell also supports HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) which allows it to dynamically allocate data resources to 3G mobile devices as they are required, allowing more devices to use the network simultaneously and efficiently allocating bandwidth when users need it.

Authentication - Tacticell uses secure bi-directional authentication using the 3GPP 3G/4G Milenage Algorithmand the 3GPP A5/3 algorithm for encryption

Supported Cellular Features - Tacticell Management Software supports all of the features of a cellular core network to include: Voice, Data, Video Conferencing, SMS, and roaming.

Supported Radios - Tacticell supports multiple UMTS radios in Pico and micro-cell form factors and operates in 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1700 Mhz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz configurations.
